Centralize Your Project Files with Structur's File Management System

Here's how to get started with file management in Structur:

  1. Navigate to Projects: From your Structur dashboard, click on the "Projects" tab in the sidebar menu.

  2. Access the "Files" Tab: Within the Projects section, select a project from the drop-down menu and click on the "Files" tab. This will open the file management page.

  3. Familiarize Yourself with the Default Folder Structure: Structur provides a default folder structure to help you organize your project files. You'll see folders for common categories like Documents, Drawings/Specs, and Photos/Videos.

Now you're ready to start uploading and organizing your files!

  • Upload Files: Click the "Add New File" button to upload documents from your computer. Structur supports various file types, including Word documents, PDFs, spreadsheets, images, and videos.

  • Create New Folders: Customize your file organization by creating new folders within the existing structure.

  • Easy Search: Use the search bar to quickly find the files you need.

  • Set Default Folders: Once you have your file organization set up the way you like it, you can save it as your default folder structure. To do this, click on "Settings" within the Files tab to add, edit or delete folders. This will apply your customized folder structure to all new projects, saving you time and ensuring consistency.
