Submittals are a critical part of construction projects, providing detailed information about materials, equipment, and installation methods used by contractors. Structur simplifies the submittal process, ensuring efficient communication and approval workflows.

To access Submittals, navigate to the Projects section in your Structur dashboard and click on the "Submittals" tab within a project.

Creating a New Submittal

  1. Click "New Submittal."

  2. Provide a relevant title that clearly describes the content of the submittal.

  3. Select the submittal manager.

  4. Choose the submittal type. You can select from pre-defined options or create your own custom types within Structur.

  5. Choose the relevant subcontract associated with this submittal.

  6. Add recipients. Include all decision-makers (e.g., architects, engineers) and subcontractors who need to provide input or approval.

  7. Enter a detailed description of the submittal.
