Structur's checklist feature provides a powerful way to standardize processes, ensure consistency, and minimize errors in your operations. Whether you're managing preconstruction tasks, onboarding new employees, conducting safety inspections, or closing out projects, checklists can help your team stay organized and follow best practices.

Here's a step-by-step guide to creating checklists in Structur:

  1. Navigate to Employee Handbooks: From your Structur dashboard, click on the "Internal Operations" tab in the sidebar menu. This will take you to the area where you manage your company's internal processes and knowledge.

  2. Choose the Relevant Section: Select the folder and then the specific section where you want to create your checklist. For example, if you're creating a checklist for preconstruction proposals, you might navigate to your "Preconstruction" folder and then the "Proposals" section.

  3. Add a New Page: Click the "Add New Page Content" button to open the page content options menu.

  4. Select "Checklist": Choose "Checklist" from the menu. This will open the checklist creation page.

  5. Give Your Checklist a Title: Enter a clear and descriptive title for your checklist that accurately reflects its purpose. For example, "Preconstruction Proposal Checklist" or "New Employee Onboarding Checklist."

  6. Add Checklist Items: Click the "Manage Checklist" button to start adding items to your checklist. Each item should represent a specific task or step within the process you're outlining. Be as detailed as possible to ensure clarity and avoid ambiguity.

  7. Organize Your Checklist: Arrange the checklist items in a logical order that reflects the workflow of the process.

  8. Add Descriptions (Optional): If necessary, add descriptions to checklist items to provide further context or instructions.

  9. Save Your Checklist: Once you've added and organized all the necessary items, click the "Save" button to save your checklist.

Share the checklist with your team to ensure everyone follows the same standardized process. Team members can check off items as they complete them, providing a visual progress indicator and ensuring that no steps are missed.
