Structur's Timesheets feature simplifies time tracking and labor cost management for your construction projects. Here's how it works:
1. Set Hourly Rates
Go to your team's settings in Structur.
For each employee, enter their hourly pay rate. This ensures accurate cost calculations for their time entries.
2. Create a New Timesheet Entry
Navigate to the Timesheets section within a project.
Click "New Entry" to create a new timesheet record.
3. Fill Out the Timesheet Details
Select the Employee: Choose the team member whose time you're recording.
Choose the Cost Code: Assign the time entry to the relevant cost code for accurate cost tracking.
Enter the Date and Time: Specify the date and start/end times for the work period.
Add Breaks: Include any break or lunch periods within the time entry.
4. Save and Review
Click "Save and Close" to save the timesheet entry.
You can view all timesheet entries in a list format.
Save and Add New: Use the "Save and Add New" function to quickly enter multiple timesheet entries in succession.
5. Automatic Cost Calculation and Budget Integration
Structur automatically calculates the labor cost for each entry based on the employee's hourly rate and hours worked.
This labor cost is then automatically added to the project budget as a "Labor Hours Expense" under the chosen cost code.
By following these simple steps, you can effectively track employee time, manage labor costs, and maintain accurate project budgets with Structur's Timesheets feature.
