Subcontracts in Structur are more formal agreements with your vendors, encompassing scope of work, terms and conditions, and payment schedules.

Creating a New Subcontract

  1. Click "New Subcontract."

  2. Fill out the initial information:

    • Title: Provide a clear and descriptive title.

    • Cost Code: Assign the subcontract to the appropriate cost code.

    • Vendor: Select the vendor from your list.

    • Materials Only: Check this box if the subcontract is for material supply only (e.g., a purchase order).

  3. Complete the subcontract draft:

    • Amount: Enter the total subcontract value.

    • Schedule Item: Link the subcontract to a specific schedule item in your project timeline.

    • Scope of Work: Provide a detailed description of the work to be performed.

    • Terms and Conditions: Standard terms and conditions from your company templates (located in Settings) will be automatically included.

  4. Finalize and send:

    • Copy Link: Share the subcontract link with relevant parties.

    • View Subcontract: Preview the final version of the subcontract.

    • Send Subcontract: Send the subcontract to the vendor for their review and signature.

Structur's Costs feature simplifies expense tracking and subcontract management, providing a centralized platform for managing your project financials and vendor relationships.
