Subcontracts in Structur are more formal agreements with your vendors, encompassing scope of work, terms and conditions, and payment schedules.
Creating a New Subcontract
Click "New Subcontract."
Fill out the initial information:
Title: Provide a clear and descriptive title.
Cost Code: Assign the subcontract to the appropriate cost code.
Vendor: Select the vendor from your list.
Materials Only: Check this box if the subcontract is for material supply only (e.g., a purchase order).
Complete the subcontract draft:
Amount: Enter the total subcontract value.
Schedule Item: Link the subcontract to a specific schedule item in your project timeline.
Scope of Work: Provide a detailed description of the work to be performed.
Terms and Conditions: Standard terms and conditions from your company templates (located in Settings) will be automatically included.
Finalize and send:
Copy Link: Share the subcontract link with relevant parties.
View Subcontract: Preview the final version of the subcontract.
Send Subcontract: Send the subcontract to the vendor for their review and signature.
