Creating and Managing Proposals in Structur
Structur streamlines the proposal creation process by automatically generating a draft proposal linked to your estimate. This article guides you through editing, customizing, and sending proposals to your clients.
Accessing and Editing Your Proposal
Locate Your Lead/Project: Navigate to the relevant lead or project within Structur.
Access the Proposal: You'll find an automatically generated proposal linked to your estimate.
Edit the Proposal: Click anywhere on the proposal or click the "Open" button to begin editing.
Customizing Your Proposal
Default Proposal: Start by editing your default proposal template. This will populate all future proposals with your preferred settings. Access this by clicking "Edit Default Proposal."
Customize elements like the header, company information, CEO statement, team member details, testimonials, photos, terms and conditions, and thank you page.
Upload your company logo, adjust colors, and add or remove sections as needed.
Individual Proposal Edits: While the default template provides a foundation, you can still customize individual proposals.
Change the photo, toggle dark/light mode, adjust colors, and modify content within each section.
Pricing Table Options
Show/Hide Cost Codes: Control the level of detail displayed in the pricing table. Choose to show only group headings or individual cost codes.
Hide Totals: Optionally hide the total cost, overhead, and profit from the client's view.
Managing Team Members and Testimonials
Default Team Members: Add default team members in the "Edit Default Proposal" section to include them in all future proposals.
Proposal-Specific Team Members: Add or remove team members for individual proposals as needed.
Testimonials: Manage testimonials within the default template or add specific testimonials to individual proposals.
Terms and Conditions
Default Terms: Set your default terms and conditions in the "Settings" section. These will automatically populate in all new proposals.
Previewing and Sending
Preview: Use the "Preview" button to see how the proposal will appear to the client.
Download: Download the proposal as a PDF for your records or to send manually.
Send to Client: Use the built-in functionality to send the proposal directly to your client for approval.
