Managing Leads in Structur
Structur's Leads feature streamlines your sales process, allowing you to track and manage potential clients with ease. This article will guide you through how to effectively use the Leads feature.
Lead Stages
Leads are organized into different stages, represented as columns, to help you visualize your sales pipeline. Structur comes with pre-defined stages (marked with lightning bolts) that automate your workflow:
New Leads: New leads automatically enter this stage, especially when using the embed form (more on that below).
Estimate Created: When you create an estimate for a lead, they move to this stage.
Proposal Sent: Leads move here once a proposal has been generated.
Customizing Stages
While the core stages are fixed for automation, you can customize your pipeline further:
Add Custom Stages: Include stages specific to your sales process (e.g., "Qualified," "Follow-Up").
Reorder Stages: Arrange stages in a logical order that reflects your workflow.
Edit Stage Names: Rename stages to align with your terminology.
Embed Form for Automatic Lead Capture
Structur's embed form allows you to capture leads directly from your website and automatically add them to your pipeline. Here's how it works:
Access the Embed Form: Click the "Embed Form" button in the Leads section.
Customize the Form: Use the form builder to add and customize fields to gather the information you need.
Embed the Code: Copy the embed code and paste it into your website's HTML or provide it to your web developer.
Autopilot Engaged: Once embedded, leads submitting the form on your website will automatically flow into your Structur account as "New Leads."
Managing Lead Information
Clicking on a lead reveals detailed information and options:
Estimates & Proposals: View associated estimates and proposals.
RFIs: Access any related Requests for Information.
Client Details: Add or select existing client information.
Email Integration: Connect your Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, and other IMAP accounts to automatically sync emails with the lead.
Notes & Comments: Add internal notes and comments to keep track of interactions and progress.
Mark as Lost/Reopen: If a lead doesn't convert, mark it as lost. You can also reopen a lost lead if needed.
Additional Features
Filtering: Filter leads by different criteria to focus on specific segments.
Adding Leads Manually: You can manually add leads if they don't originate from your website form.
Lead-Estimate Connection: Remember to create leads before starting the estimating process. This ensures your project financials are accurately tracked and connected.
